Welcome

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’m Kate Anderson Guzman, founder and psychotherapist at Peaceful Mind Collective. This is a space where you can be your whole self—your joys, your struggles, and everything in between—and feel fully seen, heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.

I offer telehealth therapy across New York State for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of childhood or recent trauma. My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned — I believe people heal when they feel truly seen, safe, and understood. Together, we’ll explore the roots of what you’re experiencing while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded day-to-day.

Patients often work with me on:

  • Persistent anxiety that feels hard to quiet

  • Depression or loss of pleasure in things that previously brought joy

  • Overthinking, people-pleasing, and perfectionism

  • Burnout, emotional exhaustion, or low mood

  • Self-esteem, self-worth, and body image concerns

  • Childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and complex family dynamics

  • Identity shifts, major life transitions, and high-pressure careers

  • Relationship patterns that feel confusing, painful, or repeating

  • Caretaking stress, including new parents, child-parent conflict, and caregiving responsibilities for seniors

My practice is open to young adults through seniors of all backgrounds who want to better understand themselves and feel more in control of their lives. Therapy with me is a space where you won’t have to hold everything alone. If you’re ready for support that’s both compassionate and effective, I’d love to connect.
